Powder paint underbaking and overbaking

The overbaked powder coating during bending begins to instantly crack and fall off. Paint can easily be removed with metal by hand. Also, repacking can be determined by the mismatch of the color of the powder to what it should be. For example, the paint may turn yellow. Gloss may also decrease, or vice versa, the coating may become too glossy.
Thickness variation can also be caused by overbaking.
In addition, the crossed coating will not have the physical and chemical properties that it should have.
In order to avoid these problems, one must clearly know the parameters of the polymerization furnace installed at the plant. Curing modes should be consistent with those indicated by the manufacturers on the powder packaging.
If the indicators do not meet each other, then it is necessary to adjust the operation of the furnace.
Regularly, every 3-4 months, it is necessary to conduct a technical audit. Measure the temperature in different zones of the furnace. It is better to invite specialists who have the necessary equipment for monitoring measurements of indicators in the furnace. They, in addition, will also be able to check absolutely all the equipment and help determine what works wrong.
