Development of decor with powder coating
Powder coating is an extremely reliable coating and provides designers with many possibilities. The question arises — how complex can color combinations be in one object? What patterns can be created? Powder LFM is not just a boring protection of metal against rust, but also a field for creation of unique design solutions!
Technical capabilities
Powder coating cannot be mixed by hand, so when you need a new color that is not available anywhere else, you have to special order it. The Lacover laboratory accepts such special orders and formulates paint materials from scratch — just choose a color from our RAL catalog. You should also not mix the powder on the product, because the result after polymerization will be unpredictable.
If you paint each detail separately, you can make interesting mosaics, panels, sculptures. Not only metal, but also ceramics and MDF are painted with powder coatings. The work will not fade for many years and your customers will receive a unique addition to the interior.
Color theory
Another challenge is combining colors in a way that appeals to most people. Of course, everyone has their own taste, but human perception has certain patterns. For convenience, designers have laid out the entire color spectrum on a circle, where colors are divided into groups by tone and temperature. Using the chromatic circle, combine in the following ways:
- Analog (two adjacent);
- Additional (opposite);
- Separately complementary (two opposites and one similar);
- By a triad (by the vertices of an equilateral triangle);
- Doubly complementary (at the corners of the quadrilateral).
For example, blue and green go well with each other because they are next to each other. And red and purple will look strange — these colors are located not far from each other, but it is difficult to draw lines or regular geometric shapes between them. Pink and green shades go well not only according to color theory — they remind of spring and blooming flowers.
