Lacover’s contribution to the future: a new laboratory at KNUBiA

“Lacover” is concerned about the development of the field of powder paints — that’s why it actively helps students and educational institutions. That is why Lakover took the initiative and financed a new laboratory for the Kyiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture!

Close cooperation

KNUBiA has been cooperating with Lakover for many years: nine alumni of the alma mater have already joined us. Our chief technologist Oles Lastivka is a doctoral student of the “Technology of construction structures and products” department, a professor university and holds the rank of associate professor. Recently, he prepared a monograph on powder coating materials — the first Ukrainian publication on this topic in times of independence. We are proud of the fruits of conscientious work and will provide a link to this work on the website in the near future.

“Lakovera” specialists constantly participate in exhibitions organized by the university. In this way, the company introduces students to the labor market and challenges industry and scientific breakthroughs. Creation of a new laboratory

The company’s management, in particular V’yacheslava and Olga Kovalchuk, have long been concerned about the fact that interns do not know the equipment of the powder production workshop
paint and development laboratories. It took almost a year to find a place and suitable equipment, but the result was worth it. Extruder, mill, chamber spraying and a spraying unit, a small polymerization furnace provide an opportunity to simulate the technological process of production. And this is not surprising, because quality is the main thing for “Lacover”.

From now on, a new generation of craftsmen will be able to experiment with composition, structures and colors, and the market of Ukrainian and global paint coatings will receive revolutionary novelties!
