Needs

Coating with insoluble phosphoric acid salts has many advantages, these substances actually insulate the material. Salinity, humidity, temperature changes and other atmospheric phenomena cause enormous damage — in this case, the layer protects as best as possible. However, it is vulnerable to mechanical damage and aggressive chemicals. If the product must withstand friction, small abrasive particles of sand, dust, stones, etc., such a coating will not last long. Use phosphoric acid salts as a soil for powder paint — the most effective and universal way to protect against rust.

Varieties

Each production has its own peculiarities of technological processes, therefore there are many different ways to apply insoluble salt to metal products.

Hydroabrasive

The part is immersed in a 10% solution of potassium dichromate, heated to 70°C, and then in an organosilicon liquid with gasoline. When the gasoline component evaporates, drying is carried out at a temperature of 100°C for an hour.

 

Phosphating primers

On the market, you can buy special phosphating primers based on orthophosphoric acid. They cause passivation of the metal, that is, the formation of a layer of oxides on surface.

Chemical treatment

For chemical treatment, use MAZHEF salt, dilute 35 grams for every liter of water and boil for 20 minutes. At the same time, it is necessary to monitor the level of acidity and adjust it. For crystallization, it is enough to leave the parts in water for 10-15 minutes. There are various types of application of MAZEF, with different compositions solutions.
